On the night of Fu Li Gongās eighteenth birthday, Zheng Ze Shou and his classmates organize a small bash for Fu Li Gong at their school roof top until the security arrives and chases them away. At this point, Zheng Ze Shou pulls Fu Li Gong into a classroom for them to hide and then gives him a key chain with a minus sign carved on to it as his birthday present. Ten years later, a few days before they both turn twenty-eight, Zheng Ze Shouās father sets him up with a girl just like he does every six months or so. Episode 2 - Parallel Lines

Forced by their fathers to meet with their potential marriage partners, Zheng Ze Shou and Fu Li Gong resort to putting on a show orchestrated by Zheng Xue Qing, Zheng Ze Shouās younger sister, and successfully manage to scare off their dates. But when their deception is unexpectedly revealed, a huge argument breaks out between Zheng Ze Shou and his father, after which the former heads to the bar to drown his sorrows. When Fu Li Gong shows up to take him home, Zheng Ze Shou grabs him, pulls him down andākisses him? Meanwhile, Jian Ying Ze, who runs a laundromat above a bar, has had enough of the loud music coming from downstairs. To add to it, the bar patrons have left the entrance to the laundromat in an absolute mess. Upon seeing the clutter, Jian Ying Ze directly confronts and is about to have it out with Nikita, the manager of the bar, when popular bartender Yuki shows up and snatches the broom out of Jian Yin Zeās handā¦

At Yukiās suggestion, everyone at the bar starts playing Kings, and as part of the game, Zheng Ze Shou is made to kiss their newly single friend.
